Our certification in hand therapy was developed with a local focus. Our board has engaged local Hand Therapy leaders in many countries to develop an exam that represents the practice of Hand and Upper Limb rehabilitation in various countries and regions. We want to recognize occupational therapists and physiotherapists with advanced clinical knowledge, experience and skills in the practice of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.
Documentation of three years of practice as an occupational therapist or physical therapist
Documentation of 4,000 hours of Direct Practice Experience using the Employment Verification Form
Completed Explanation of Practice Experience Form
A copy of current license, certificate or registration to practice occupational therapy or physical therapy
Have gained at least 100 CPD points from our online courses or workshops
